School Closing Policy and Guidelines
Please refer to our website and email blasts for
updates on school closings.
Decisions to
cancel will be made on the day of the classes in question and
we will make the best effort to determine closes approximately:
- for morning classes by 9am
- for evening classes 2pm - 3pm
Please keep in mind that several of our teachers travel from Philadelphia to be here and we must make decisions on closing not only for the safety of our studio families but also for our staff. Conditions vary within just a few miles. Safety is our #1 priority!
As
mentioned in all of our literature, Mixturez reserves the right not to
make up classes due to inclement weather. Students are urged to
make-up the class in any of the other classes we offer throughout the
week. This is a good opportunity to try out another dance style! Please note teachers will attempt to make up a class if a class has been inconvenienced by weather 3 or more times. Refunds are not given for class
cancellations as a result of inclement weather.
